INA Museum, Moirang

The Indian National Army (INA) War Museum in the INA Memorial Complex in Moirang is the only official museum dedicated to the Second World War in Manipur today. Its focus is primarily on the rise of the INA and on the role and activities of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose in particular. Relics of war from across Manipur dating back to 1944, including arms and ammunition, bayonets, helmets and bottles, among others, are also displayed here.

Imphal Peace Museum, Maibam Lotpa Ching

This impressive museum just outside Imphal was inaugurated on 22 June 2019 as part of the 75th Anniversary commemoration of the Imphal battle. This is a joint project of the Nippon Foundation and the Sasakawa Peace Foundation, in collaboration with the Government of Manipur, the Manipur Tourism Forum and the 2nd World War Imphal Campaign Foundation. It showcases both the war era and the post-war period in Manipur.
